How It All Began
The accessible transportation market is fragmented, with small livery services and senior care facilities offering limited accessible rides. These services are outside their core expertise, something that becomes evident in the quality of their service. Metro Nashville’s long running subsidized ride program has also struggled with poor equipment, high costs, and consistently low customer satisfaction.
This gap inspired Rhonda to build Able & Ready Transportation, Inc. Today, more than 105,000 individuals in the Nashville area, and many more in surrounding counties, need reliable accessible transportation. Our mission is simple: we don’t aim to be all things to all people, but to be everything our riders need.
Our primary customers are adults ages 21–64 with disabilities, as well as older adults who benefit from safe, dependable accessible rides throughout the Nashville metro area and nearby counties.
